That is why it is our top priority to produce not only flawless, but also outstanding clarinets. Every instrument that leaves our workshop has been carefully checked and played by us. Even after the purchase, we are – and will remain – your point of contact for everything to do with your SEGGELKE clarinet. We take care of professional maintenance or solve any problems.
MAINTENANCE
Clarinets are beautiful instruments that require regular care to maintain their optimum performance. Maintenance involves various steps, including cleaning, checking the pads, adjusting the keys and any necessary repairs. It is important to have your clarinet serviced regularly to ensure that it functions perfectly and has a precise sound. Professional maintenance with us can help to identify and rectify problems at an early stage. This way, major damage or costly, extensive repairs can be avoided. Regular maintenance ensures that the instrument is always in top condition and will continue to be a pleasure to play in the long term.
GENERAL OVERHAUL
During a general overhaul of a clarinet, the instrument is thoroughly cleaned, repaired and readjusted to bring it to its optimum condition. The clarinet is taken apart completely, including the keys, springs and pads. All parts are carefully cleaned to remove dirt and grease. Damaged or worn parts such as pads, springs, corks or adjusting screws are replaced. Mechanical parts are re-silvered or gold-plated if necessary. The keys of the clarinet are carefully assembled and adjusted to ensure optimum playability. Finally, the instrument is played and, after consultation, intonation optimizations are carried out. A general overhaul helps to restore the clarinet to excellent playing condition, with good sound quality, precise intonation and smooth mechanics.

REPAIRS
Do you have a problem with your instrument, is something broken or not fully functional? Make your clarinet sound beautiful again! Our professional clarinet repairing service will get your instrument back in top form.
REPAIRING PERIOD
Please note that repairs and overhauls are also manual work and require a certain amount of time. Please allow two weeks for general overhauls, including shipping time.
COST ESTIMATE
We can only give you precise details if we have your instrument available for inspection. You will then receive a cost estimate, which we will be happy to discuss with you. As soon as we have received your approval, we can start working.
SHIPPING TO SEGGELKE
Place the clarinet in an instrument case and, if necessary, add padding material so that your clarinet does not move around in its case. Please enclose your specific optimization requests for the keywork or intonation. Please also provide us with a tracking number so that your parcel arrives safely.
COLLECTION OR RETURN
You are welcome to collect your freshly overhauled instrument from us by arrangement and check it directly. Otherwise, we will send the instrument with an invoice to an address specified by you.
